For over 70 years Global Industrial has been an industry leader providing private label and brand name industrial equipment and supplies to businesses throughout North America.

We carry over one million industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes. Provide insight to larger team on trends and errors and provide innovative business solutions. Review various processes including sales compensation planning, sales new hire onboarding & training, and our North America Sales Forecasting process. Research and analyze current processes and present formal recommendations for improvements. Perform trend analysis and present findings.

Competencies and skills

Rising Sophomore/Junior pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field of study. Strong project management skills. Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow. Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel and Word.
