Entry Level Chemical Operators needed in Evans City, $21-25/hr

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of chemical processes and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of chemical handling and manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

This is an entry level position responsible for performing all repetitive/routine tasks associated with daily production of chemical processing. Primary responsibilities are to follow operating procedures to create, control and transfer batches of products per project. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and able to work with common hand tools (wrenches, ratchets, air and battery-operated tools). Basic knowledge of common household chemicals and hazards is also required, training is provided.

Requires:

12- 18 months experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Basic Math skills- Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide and convert fractions to decimals.

Basic Computer skills: Windows, Office/Email systems.

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including face shields, glasses, gloves, hard hats and so forth.

Prefer experience wearing more advanced PPE, including respirators.

Must possess a valid driver's license

Prefer forklift experience

GED/High School Diploma preferred.

Rotating 8 Hour Shift Schedule: Must be able to work all of the shifts and rotate between days and nights. This is a Monday- Friday Schedule- that rotates on a weekly basis.

This is a temp to hire position with the possibility of long-term employment if you are a good fit. This job offers the opportunity for advancement.

Candidates must be able to meet criminal background requirements and be able to pass a drug screen and a physical upon job offer.
