Description

We are searching for a meticulous and experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in the North-West Metro. As a Sr. Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and analyzing financial transactions, ensuring that our company's financial records are accurate and up-to-date, and providing valuable financial insights to support our strategic decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

Manage the accurate and timely preparation of general ledger journal entries.

Oversee the preparation of month-end accounting reports.

Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Prepare and manage annual audit and tax schedules.

Facilitate external audits through the provision of required information.

Record and manage financial transactions, including assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses, payroll, and payroll tax entries.

Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts through verification, allocation, posting, and reconciliation of transactions.

Ensure the general ledger is accurate by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial statements and their impact on transaction cycles, including the ability to build financial statements.

Requirements

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

Ability to prepare Journal Entries

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel

Experience with Month End Close procedures

Excellent Communication Skills

Demonstrated 10 Key Skills

Understanding of US GAAP standards

Ability to Analyze Financial Statements

Skill in Financial Statement Preparation

Experience in managing Annual External Audit.
