It is where our exclusive Max Originals and iconic entertainment brands thrive, with HBO, HBO Max, Warner Bros., DC, Turner Classic Movies, Cartoon Network and more delivering the greatest array of series, movies, and specials for audiences of all ages. HBO Max originally launched in the United States in May 2020 and introduced a lower priced, advertising-supported tier in June 2021. It rolled out globally across Latin America and the Caribbean in 2021, followed by its first European launches in the Nordics and Spain later that year. In May 2023, Warner Bros. Discovery introduced Max, an enhanced streaming platform, in the U.S. HBO Max is currently available in 46 countries and there are plans for the continued global expansion of Max in 2024.
Warner Bros. Discovery is building unique Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) experiences around the world. Delivering products globally requires a robust content & metadata platform to serve as the foundation for content that flows to our worldwide partners, networks, and distribution channels. As the strategic leader for this global content platform, you will partner with the distribution platform to power a transformation of Warner Bros. Discovery enabling the future of interactive & personalized video experiences for global audiences spanning 220 countries.
As the Principal PM-T for Media Supply Chain AI, you will serve as the single-threaded thought leader for how WBD will infuse AI methodologies and state-of-the-art technologies throughout WBD's content distribution business. Y ou will work with Media Supply Chain engineering, Product Management, Media Logistics, Content Operations, and other stakeholders to define the strategy and build the platforms to create cutting-edge workflows for the acquisition, enrichment, and distribution of WBD's content to a global audience of hundreds of millions.
You are an accomplished senior product management leader and have experience with end-to-end cinematic and television workflows . You are an expert on how the media industry is evolving to enhance these workflows using powerful new tools, and you have direct experience working with or within major media companies who source and deliver the assets required to fulfill content to linear, direct-to-consumer, and licensees across multiple lines of business. You are a data-driven leader who understands how to invent and deploy new metrics to measure the success of our strategies , and use those metrics to prioritize a wide range of rapidly-evolving operational needs in a fast-paced startup environment. Lastly, you are a highly independent and self-directed individual who is comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous situations, proactively identifying opportunities and driving solutions wi th minimal oversight.
Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders across WBD to develop advanced AI systems to transform WBD's operations and products
Empathize with a wide stakeholder group t o identify use cases, prioritize the business's needs, and drive successful implementation and adoption with operational teams.
Lead cross-functional teams to select, train, and integrate state-of-the-art AI models into WBD's content supply chains products , and to work with internal teams to train, improve, and invent new capabilities
Work with production management teams, operations, media logistics , marketing, and merchandising teams to conceive of, resource, and build features that simplify workflows and enable rapid global expansion, with a "hands off the wheel" approach
Engage with engineering teams within Media Supply Chain and the Global Video Platform to build alignment around a vision for WBD's content AI platform and drive adoption across WBD's internal tools
Successfully iterate and improve upon the tools described above to enable Warner Bros. Discovery to rapidly improve its slate of existing and upcoming digital products around the world
Requirements
You have experience working on global software deployments with localization and regional complexity
You have a deep understanding of media workflows, content management systems, and direct-to-consumer services, and you take pride in knowing where the industry is going next
You have top-notch written and verbal communication skills, and are equally comfortable working with engineering teams and presenting your team's work to executive leadership at all levels
You can appropriately balance the right north-star architecture, vision, and OKRs with the need to meet short-term business objectives
You take a phased approach to delivering software. Iteration is in your nature.
5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams to deliver complex initiatives spanning multiple teams under deadline pressure
You ideally have demonstrated experience working in major media production company or SVOD service
BS/MS in Computer Science or experience in a related technical field

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $193,200.00 - $358,800.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
