Project Manager
A project manager manages a larger volume of projects and levels of complexity. He or she also has a broader overview and scope of concurrent projects. Project managers have more responsibility, as they are charged with the strategic direction of projects and their alignment with organizational and executive objectives. These objectives all tie to improved operational and financial goals for the organization.
Responsibilities:
· Manage a portfolio of complex projects within multiple sectors that span one or multiple lines of business.
· Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
· Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure alignment to the achievement of strategic objectives.
· Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.
· Successfully demonstrates strong knowledge in construction cost to complete and project financial projections.
· Accurately projects project costs broken down by phase code relating to materials a remaining labor hours.
· Identifies areas of scope creep to mitigate risk and exposure.
· Identifies and assembles design errors and project change orders and communicates these to the project team.
· Demonstrates success in the art of selling project change orders and increasing margin.
· Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
· Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
· Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
· Coordinates with general super and foreman to accurately review revised project labor hours and sets expectations and duration for completion within these targets.
· Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
· Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and communicates additional requirements and impacts with Vice President of Construction.
· Monitor sta/ performance and complete performance reviews.
· Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
· Follows detailed processes for project execution while working with the Vice President to continually analyze the adherence of these processes.
· Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with code requirements.
· Act as an internal quality control check for the project.
· Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
· Assist in dispute, negotiation, arbitration or litigation, as needed.
· Support formal/informal schedules to manage the engagement contract.
· Understands project specification for installation and ensures project team understands the requirements.
· Develop and manage all aspects of project from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
· Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
· Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
· Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team
· Deliver appropriate and e/ective executive level communication
· Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
· Proven success in providing on site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
· Speaks factually on current issues and focuses on facts vs personal opinion.
· Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
· Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies

Qualifications:
· Excellent experience in electrical construction industry. 7+ year experience preferred in a project management role.
· 5+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle
· Maintains CT journeymen or master electrical license(s)
· Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across organizational verticals.
· Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
· Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
· Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
· Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
· Tools: MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Project Sight, Procore, Blue Beam
· Experience negotiating with vendors and subcontractors
· Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
· Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget
· Experience leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance
· Strong experience presenting and demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical sta/, all levels of management
· Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executives, team members, stakeholders and peers
· Team-building skills with technical and non-technical sta/
· Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
· Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
