Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team in Shelton, Connecticut. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to support the evening nursing program and assist with various administrative tasks. The role involves interacting with students, preparing class materials, and providing front desk coverage as needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support for the evening nursing program, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.

Prepare and organize class materials, ensuring they are accurate and ready for distribution.

Respond to student inquiries promptly and professionally, offering guidance and assistance.

Handle inbound and outbound calls with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Manage email correspondence, maintaining clear and concise communication.

Perform data entry tasks with precision to maintain accurate records.

Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings efficiently.

Utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook to complete tasks.

Ensure front desk coverage as needed, handling visitor inquiries and administrative requests. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or support role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer service-oriented approach.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Experience handling inbound and outbound calls with attention to detail.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Familiarity with scheduling and appointment coordination.
