ENTRY LEVEL Traffic Engineer & ENTRY LEVEL Landscape Architect Opportunities in Westchester County, NY!

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Civil/Traffic Engineer to assist in the preparation of conceptual site planning, roadway and utility design, stormwater management, and cost estimating for commercial, institutional, and residential developments. The successful candidate will prepare detailed drawings, including utility design, drainage improvements, and project detailing for permitting and construction. Additionally, you will develop Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans and related documentation, create technical specifications, reports, and studies, and communicate effectively with other professionals and team members. Adherence to project schedules and required deliverables is essential.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of conceptual site planning, roadway and utility design, stormwater management, and cost estimating for various developments.

Prepare detailed drawings for utility design, drainage improvements, and project detailing for permitting and construction.

Develop Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans and related documentation.

Create technical specifications, reports, and studies.

Communicate effectively both in writing and orally with other professionals and team members.

Adhere to project schedules and required deliverables.

Essential Skills

0-3 years of experience in Civil Engineering

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

Knowledge of Land Development and Civil Engineering

Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MS Office

EIT Certification

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency or willingness to learn Civil 3D and Hydrocad

Experience in site design, stormwater, drainage, and grading

Work Environment

This role offers a dynamic work environment with flexible hours due to traffic and commute considerations. Typical work hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Fridays are work-from-home days. The company is a firm in rapid growth mode, providing opportunities for mentorship by senior staff and professional development in Civil Engineering. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr.
