Job Description:
The Director will work collaboratively with Monarch and RAD leaders to implement engineering programs and new technologies aimed at improving supply reliability, overall quality, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, advancing innovation, and enhancing organizational capabilities and diversity. Also, the GTO leader will lead a team of Program Managers to ensure successful supply chain readiness and quick stabilization of new programs.
This role involves developing a robust pipeline of technical leaders and engineers, as well as enhancing the capabilities of Operations managers responsible for development and commercialization activities. The ideal candidate will excel in driving decisions in collaboration with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain.
This role will lead a team of engineering groups across Monarch programs to develop processes, components, and technological solutions through various manufacturing operating models.
Scope of Responsibilities :
Provide technical leadership to Supply Chanin organization, supporting the NPI and Life Cycle Management (LCM) programs to ensure end-to-end connectivity and program launch success. Also, strong partnership with R&D and Commercial team to ensure a well aligned business strategy.
Lead the development organization teams (Equipment, Component, Ops PM and NPI) to ensure new product introduction meet DFX principles.
Lead teams focused on Component Engineering, Equipment and Technology Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineering, Asset Management, and Operations Program management.
Facilitate interaction and resolve engineering issues between Product Development, Operations/Manufacturing, External Manufacturers, and component/raw material suppliers. This includes interaction and collaboration with R&D and Commercial teams.
Build organizational capability and lead engineers to develop effective manufacturing engineering processes at all levels. Mentor engineers within the organization and matrix organizations to sustain a strong and diverse talent pipeline.
Steer collaboration with internal and external partners to drive execution.
Align with R&D leadership to develop an overall technology strategy for Monarch.
Review and coordinate activities concerning technical developments and resolve engineering challenges.
Manage resources effectively, prioritizing and optimizing resource utilization. This includes talent development and ensure a strong technical leaders pipeline.
Ensure team members are trained and equipped with the necessary tools to perform their roles successfully.
Drive best practices in engineering design, automation, and data management.
Develop and manage expense and capital budgets in line with our business plan and strategic planning processes.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations as per Johnson & Johnson standards.
Requirements :
Bachelors Degree is required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience is required.
Proven experience in New Product Development and Life Cycle Management.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, processes, and best practices.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills in a matrixed environment.
Ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Project Management experience is preferred.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$167,000 - $289,800
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
