A Day in the Life
You will lead Manufacturing Automation withing our Enterprise Operations group. We need a determined individual who can develop a technology strategy and roadmap for automation solutions across Medtronic Manufacturing while working closely with cross-functional teams to implement these solutions.
Must Haves
Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of Manufacturing Automation/Leadership experience with 7+ years of managerial experience OR advanced degree and 8+ years of Manufacturing Automation/Leadership experience and 7+ years of managerial experience
Nice to Have
Experience across numerous roles/functions within Manufacturing and Supply Chain with demonstrated success in each area
Experience in leading large-scale change management
Demonstrated business acumen with an understanding of the P&L and balance sheet
Inclusive leader who builds trust and demonstrates genuine care for people, respecting their unique differences
DMAIC Lean / Six Sigma Certification
Demonstrated use of Lean Manufacturing principles to achieve results
Ability to lead teams as well as be a team member, develop talent, and hold people accountable to specific time-bound objectives
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The incumbent should have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of employees
Ability to travel up to 25%

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$187,200.00 - $280,800.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
