Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for various @types of projects including single-family residences, multifamily housing developments, commercial and institutional buildings, and school sports fields.

Collaborate with project teams to develop designs using materials such as wood, masonry, steel, and concrete.

Engage in both public and private sector projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

Interact with clients to understand project requirements and provide regular updates.

Utilize CAD standards and civil engineering software to create detailed project designs.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in structural analysis and design.

Experience with structural engineering principles.

Proficiency in relevant engineering software (RISA-3D, Enercalc, Tedds, or equivalent).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of CAD standards.

Experience with project design and client interaction.

Experience in budget management.

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Work Environment

Civil Design team sits in SB, with a hybrid schedule of 2-days in office. The position can also be based out of the Ventura Office. Our team environment is collaborative and supportive, with a team size of 5. The dress code is business casual, and standard working hours are from 8am to 5pm. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $98000.00 - $112000.00/yr.
