Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

Work on a team that provides high-quality assembly services to some of the biggest name companies in Agriculture, Transportation, and Power Generation! You will be involved in building repeatable sub-assemblies for customers, including tanks, running hoses, and pressure testing tanks. You will also work off of blueprint diagrams and use hand and power tools to remove, repair, and assemble parts. Performing complete rework on equipment and maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations is essential. Additionally, you will inspect the quality of assembled parts and components, kit products, and prepare components for installation.

Responsibilities

Build repeatable sub-assemblies for customers, mostly for bus companies.

Build tanks, run hoses, and pressure test tanks.

Work off blueprint diagrams.

Use hand and power tools to remove, repair, and assemble parts.

Perform complete rework on equipment.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

Inspect the quality of assembled parts and components.

Kit products and prepare components for installation.

Essential Skills

2 years of Mechanical Assembly experience.

2 years of experience with power tools and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in agriculture or farm work, particularly fixing or working on farm equipment.

Experience in manufacturing, schematic reading, and use of overhead cranes and gearboxes.

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing facility where different components are assembled for various companies, such as bus companies and box truck companies. The warehouse occupies about half of the building and everything is organized on shelves in boxes. The shift is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some occasional overtime extending to 4:30 or 5:00 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Fargo, North Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
