Job Title: Financial Secretary

Job Brief:

Our district is looking for creative problem solvers who appreciate working with students and staff from diverse backgrounds. Location: Elementary Schools.

Salary:**

\$13.50/hour.

Hours Per Day:

Early Learning: 8:00-4:00

Elementary hours: 8:00-4:00

Secondary hours: 7:00-3:20

Times may vary depending on the building assignment

Flexible hours depending on availability

Average workday = 7.5 hours

Days Per Year: Position available during the regular school

year.

Benefits:

Vision and dental insurance are available for employees working

17.5hours/week.

Health is available for employees working at least 30+/week with a

value of district contributions of \$7,320 per year.

Retirement Plan options available for employees working at least

17.5 hours/week.

Short-term disability available for employees working at least 17.5

hours/week.

Reports To:

Building principal.

Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board

of Educations policy on evaluation of classified personnel.

Job Duties:

Greet visitors and volunteers while maintaining school safety.

Maintain student attendance and parent communication.

Update enrollment numbers and classroom counts.

Keep updated records of staff key cards and/or classroom keys.

Assist with transportation requests and maintenance work orders.

Update the schedule of appointments and maintain files for the

principal and staff.

Prepare requests for Purchase Orders and follow through with the

order until received.

Maintain Timeclock/payroll adjustments for certified and classified

staff.

Attend classes/training/office professional meetings needed to keep

informed of district resources and guidelines.

Manage substitute requests and scheduling.

Knowledge of school accounts and spending.

Any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

FLSA Status:Non-Exempt.
