Construction Superintendent

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Construction Superintendent to join one of the federal contracting clients in Washington, DC supporting a DoD program. The Superintendent will be performing quality control management, submittal tracking, daily reporting, communicating deficiencies to the customer, running multiple sites simultaneously, and other tasks as assigned. This is a fully onsite position 5 days a week.

Day to day:

Implement and coordinate project plans on-site according to the Statement of Work (SOW)

Plan and oversee all construction phases

Lead regular internal and external tailgate meetings, focusing on project health and safety

Prepare daily reports in collaboration with the Project Manager, Site Safety & Health Officer, and Quality Control Manager (QCM)

Review and process project submittals

Participate actively in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with all on-site staff

Coordinate with on-site subcontractors

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience as a construction superintendent working on federal construction projects

NAVFAC/USACE experience

CQM (Construction Quality Management) Certified -Ground up construction experience

-Security clearance null
