Description We are in the search for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Your role will be centered around managing daily operations in accounting, including tasks such as maintaining the general ledger, handling accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. You will have a significant role in the closing processes at the end of each month and year, and assist in the preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded

Handling accounts payable and receivable to ensure all transactions are updated and reconciled

Maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all transactions

Conducting bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy in financial data

Assisting in payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payment to all employees

Playing a crucial role in the closing processes at the end of the month and year

Contributing to the preparation of financial reports, providing accurate and timely financial information

Implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Working with QuickBooks to manage accounting tasks and generate reports

Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions, including annual budgeting and cash flow analysis. Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

Strong understanding and experience in all Accounting Functions.

Extensive experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Demonstrable knowledge and practice in preparing Annual Budgets.

Proven ability in conducting Cash Flow Analysis.

Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
