We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to become an integral part of their dynamic legal team. Pay rate: $26.00 - $30.00

Length: Contract to hire

Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact, managing intake calls and emails with professionalism and empathy.

Efficiently schedule and coordinate client consultations and follow-ups for our attorneys.

Provide comprehensive administrative support, including document preparation, calendar management, and client onboarding.

Manage and update client files using our advanced client management system.

Handle electronic and traditional filings of pleadings with State and Federal Courts.

Assist in preparing briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.

Coordinate service of process for legal documents.

Finalize a variety of court documents for e-filing and paper filing.

Gather due diligence materials, including certificates of good standing and real estate information.

Requirements:

Experience with court e-filing systems is essential

Experience in local, state and federal courts

Experience with client intake and vetting

Previous experience in a law firm is required. 2-5 years

A college degree is preferred, enhancing your ability to perform at a high level.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite is necessary.

Excellent communication, customer service, and telephone etiquette skills are a must.

Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
