Change Management Coordinator develop, implement and manage organizational change management capability for efforts across the Collaborative (Department of Human Services (DHS), MNIT@DHS, Tribal Nations and Counties). This role is called upon to provide expertise in strategic change and communications to drive change with empathy, equity, and a people-centric approach.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Leading high-level (agency-wide, administration-wide or cross-agency/governmental) efforts to develop and implement organizational change management capability facilitating transitions as well as project-oriented, tactical change management focusing on specific initiatives
Training and coaching of senior and executive leadership within DHS and partner organizations to build capacity and sustainability for organizational change management.
Directing organizational and cultural change efforts across multiple partners to enhance project success and improve outcomes at the highest levels for the human services system in Minnesota.
Managing partner relationships across DHS, counties, and Minnesota Information Technology (MNIT).
Providing strategic guidance on managing complex change to DHS, and MNIT@DHS executive leadership, including coaching, training, conducting assessments and planning for change activities in order to support individuals and teams facing challenges adapting to changes.
Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of high-level expertise working with organizational change management, design and implementation.
Experience must clearly demonstrate:
Knowledge of change management and/or organizational development theories/models/tools.
Experience implementing change management training and methodologies, and leading the development of change communications.
Project management that includes facilitation, tracking project progress, and presenting results and deliverables to diverse audiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to engage and influence partners at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in leading large-scale change initiatives.
Complex problem solving and strategic thinking.
Experience collaborating effectively across all levels of an organization, from the C-Suite to front-line staff.
Change management certification (PROSCI or Certified Changed Management Professional).
Coaching certification or proven experience coaching leaders (ICF Associate certified coach or similar certification).
A Master's degree in an area related to change leadership and management, or organizational development and effectiveness.
Strong human relations, engagement and communication skills to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing to respond openly to requests and concerns.
Knowledge of Department of Human Services (DHS) programs and their interrelationships and an understanding of human services policy and procedures, and of government functions and relations.
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
