Staff Accountant

Direct Hire

$55-70k

*Position will be fully onsite, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm

Kelly is seeking a Staff Accountant to work with our Post Falls-based client, a leading manufacturer, on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to step foot into a successful small business with over 40 years of expertise!

The Staff Accountant will:

Manage all aspects of the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections

Reconcile AP/AR accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly

Maintain organized financial records and ensure data accuracy in accounting systems

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to AP/AR

Collaborate with vendors and clients to address payment-related queries and concerns

Back up HR and administer HR-related tasks such as onboarding, benefits enrollment, and maintaining employee records as needed

Support payroll processes by ensuring timely and accurate submission of data

Collaborate with management to improve and implement efficient processes

Contribute to cross-functional projects as needed

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting or similar discipline preferred

3+ years of relevant experience

Proficiency in accounting and HR software

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
