Job Title: Warehouse Specialist II

Job Description

The Chicago Distribution Center supports our marketing efforts by receiving, storing, and shipping our products. The Warehouse Specialist II will handle duties required to receive, identify, segregate, and process orders, including hazardous materials, high-value items, and temperature-sensitive items.

Responsibilities

Operate various @types of materials handling equipment to unload, move, and correctly locate raw materials or API in warehouse or manufacturing areas.

Maintain up-to-date training records and follow all procedures to ensure compliance with GDP and GMP expectations.

Accurately pick or pack customer orders, including high-value products.

Maintain accuracy when completing records, conducting SAP transactions, interfacing with computers or handheld devices, cross-checking, and labeling materials.

Read and understand Business Operating Procedures related to job responsibilities, written in English.

Receive and perform daily work assignments from the group leader or supervisor.

Essential Skills

High School Diploma or GED.

3-5 years of warehouse experience.

Ability to read, understand, and enter information into detailed training records, batch records, and IT systems, all written in English.

Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs., continuous walking, standing, stooping, and climbing ladders.

Ability to operate moving equipment in indoor environments.

Ability to read and follow product warning labels and complete EHS requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Speak and write English clearly.

Basic math skills.

Some computer skills are very helpful.

Ability and desire to drive a forklift.

Must have safety shoes.

Previous forklift operation experience is preferred but willing to train.

Shift: 1st (11.30am-7.30 pm)

Pay: 18.57$

Work Environment

This is an on-site role at our warehouse, with a work schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed. The role involves continuous walking, standing, stooping, climbing ladders, and operating moving equipment in an indoor environment. Safety shoes are required.

This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
