Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated administrator with a thirst for learning to support a geographically dispersed, state of the art network.
Required Skills:
Provide second-level and third-level support for all facets of the SharePoint environment, troubleshooting operational issues, including software and hardware. Including but not limited to: Troubleshooting SharePoint servers, Active Directory Federated Services, Office Online Services and Workflow Management Farm services. Troubleshooting site collection web parts, workflows, apps and correlation IDs
Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint SE environments. Including but not limited to: Installing and configuring new SharePoint Farm servers, configuring MinRole server roles, configuring service applications, installing SharePoint cumulative updates, supporting Office Online Server and Workflow Manager Farm
Support site collection data migrations from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint SE
Develop, review, and maintain documentation and best practices and procedures
Desired Skills:
Familiar with installing and configuring commercial off the shelf (COTS) web applications with a SQL database backend. This team supports not only SharePoint but also supports customer COTS web applications
Ability to support and troubleshoot customer hosted web applications built in Microsoft IIS with a SQL database back end
Familiar with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services
Duties, & Responsibilities:
Maintain multiple production and staging SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint SE server environments
Configure SharePoint 2019/SE service applications within Central Administration
Patch SharePoint 2019/SE server systems quarterly with the latest Microsoft SharePoint CU
Experience with Microsoft ADFS and 3rd party identity providers
Manages system security, DISA STIGS, and Microsoft best practices
Support and troubleshoot Tier 2/3 site collection ServiceNow tickets
Documents SharePoint governance, user KBs and system configuration
Participates in special projects as assigned
Desired:
Familiar with support and troubleshooting of Microsoft IIS
PKI certificates (creating and replacing)
Enterprise Web Application COTS product installation/configuration and troubleshooting using vendor documentation and support
Apache/Tomcat application support and troubleshooting, certificate creating and replacement using OpenSSL and keystores
Amazon AWS/C2S admin portal support of hosted IaaS Microsoft servers
Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Purview)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
Qualifications:
5-8 years of related SharePoint administration experience
The Successful Candidate will have:
Prior experience engineering, administrating and maintaining SharePoint 2016/2019/SE environments
Experience investigating and resolving SharePoint performance issues
Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for SharePoint server applications
Knowledge and experience working with and troubleshooting (2010/2013) workflows within the SharePoint environment
Familiar with Central administration functions within SharePoint
Familiar with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online technologies
Proven analytical skills with information systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of information security and systems administration

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
