Job Title: Associate Tech/Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Tech/Machine Operator who will be responsible for completing daily machine setups, tracking machine output, and managing equipment downtime. You will compile daily reports for supervisors, perform minor machine adjustments and troubleshooting, and be cross-trained on multiple machines. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift materials and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Complete daily machine setups using basic computer skills

Track daily machine output and equipment downtime

Compile daily reports for supervisors

Perform minor machine adjustments and troubleshooting

Wear latex gloves and, in some departments, face masks/clean room attire throughout the day

Lift materials weighing over 40 pounds

Move materials around the manufacturing floor

Stand and move for 8-10+ hours a day

Commit to stretching exercises every morning

Adapt to a fast-paced environment by learning from watching others and asking questions

Essential Skills

Basic computer literacy

Ability to lift 40+ pounds

Physical stamina to stand and move for 8-10+ hours a day

Commitment to following directions and stretching exercises

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

No experience required, but helpful

Good attendance record

Openness to working 6 days a week if necessary

Willingness to work overtime as mandated

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment characterized by a fast-paced, highly repetitive short-cycle assembly process. Employees will be standing for 8-12 hours a day, working under a casual dress code that requires closed-toed shoes and provided eyewear for the entire shift. The work schedule includes (2) 15-minute breaks and (1) 30-minute lunch break. There is potential for advancement to lead or controller positions based on performance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.97 - $20.97/hr.
