We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team based in Burbank/North Hollywood, California. This role is an integral part of our finance team, focusing on account reconciliation, accounts receivable, billing, cash applications, and collections. The candidate will have the responsibility of maintaining customer records and interacting with customers to address inquiries.

Responsibilities:

Undertake accurate and timely processing of customer credit applications.

Maintain comprehensive and updated records of all customer credits.

Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy in accounts receivable.

Handle and manage billing operations efficiently.

Execute cash applications and manage cash collections to maintain a healthy cash flow.

Engage in commercial collections to recover overdue payments.

Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and data management

Requirements - Entry-level position, no prior experience necessary but advantageous

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

Ability to handle Billing responsibilities accurately and efficiently

Knowledge of Cash Applications

Experience in Cash Collections, including Commercial Collections

Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and financial calculations

Demonstrable ability to work both individually and as part of a team

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

High attention to detail and accuracy in work

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in business relationships

Commitment to continuous learning and development in accounting and finance domains.
