Fabricators

Job Description:

Employees will start out in grinding, where they will hold a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges and polish the metal to a nice finish. They will then cross train into basic fabrication where they will cut metal to length utilizing a tape measure, including brake press, spot welding, buffing, and racking for paint. They will also help out in other departments as needed, including assembly, packaging, and paint. Will train and lots of room to grow!!

Responsibilities

Smooth out rough edges and polish metal using a hand grinder.

Cross train into basic fabrication tasks such as cutting metal to length using a tape measure.

Operate brake press, perform spot welding, buff, and rack items for paint.

Assist in other departments as needed, including assembly, packaging, and paint.

Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude through previous work experience, school, or hobbies.

Experience with grinding, particularly with sheet metal.

Proficiency in reading a tape measure and understanding basic math.

Experience working with hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

6 months of manufacturing experience.

Experience with tape measure reading.

Shop classes such as welding, automotive, woodworking, and machine/tool.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.84 - $22.09/hr.
