Job Summary and Qualifications

The Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting with AP, payroll and general ledger activities. Performs month-end closing activities, including month-end account reconciliations. Assists with all other daily activities of the Accounting Department and executes special projects as directed by the CFO and Controller. Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement. Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers. Promotes a supportive, team-work oriented environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of Horizon.

What qualifications you will need:

4-year degree in Business required; Accounting major preferred

Must have extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Excellent computer skills required
