WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE - DAY SHIFT

Overview

Responsible for safely loading, unloading and material movement throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

Work in a safe manner, following all safety rules and procedures.

Wear personal protective equipment as required.

Respond effectively in emergency situations.

Operates hand truck or various truck from our fleet of trucks (fork, reach, picker) to move or

convey shipments.

Assembles finished goods. orders and loads shipments based on established standard

operating procedures.

Prepares skids: straps, stretch wraps, weighs.

Receives incoming shipments based on established standard operating procedures.

Prints and pulls warehouse transfers and orders.

Receives, inspects and stores merchandise or materials.

Executes all aspects of shipping orders and receiving product from outside vendors.

Restocks corrugated and production's needs.

Works with Production department.

Assembles loads for other facilities as needed.

Housekeeping responsibilities.

Assists in training of new employees.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

2-5 years' experience in a warehouse environment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.

Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and packaging specifications.

Ability to effectively communicate and present findings to a wide variety of audiences.

Ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 49 lbs.
