Description

Robert Half is looking for a professional Accounts Payable Clerk to add to the Bethlehem, PA area! In this A/P role, you will maintain accounting records, responsible for completing payments, and reconciling invoices. This is a great opportunity for someone who is wanting to find their long-term fit!

Responsibilities:

Efficiently process invoices, ensuring they are coded accurately and entered into the company's ERP system.

Handle inquiries from both internal parties and external vendors with precision.

Keep a well-maintained record of vendor payment history.

Regularly perform reconciliation of vendor accounts and review them monthly.

Validate commission statements in accordance with monthly sales figures.

Assist in the resolution of discrepancies and in processing daily transactions as part of the Finance team.

Ensure all accounting procedures are adhered to, including transaction processing, account maintenance, entry recording, and reconciliation.

Improve department procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer relationship management.

Assist the leadership team by providing them with necessary reports.

Proactively research and find solutions to any errors.

Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements - Proficient in Account Coding, with a strong understanding of its applications in financial management.

Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning software, demonstrating ability to optimize business processes.

Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions, ensuring accurate financial record keeping.

Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures, capable of managing payments and controlling expenses.

Demonstrable experience in Auditing, with an ability to identify and rectify financial discrepancies.
