Job Title: Part Time Bookkeeper

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, data entry, invoicing, and various reconciliation tasks. This position involves managing a variety of bookkeeping and administrative tasks in a dynamic office environment.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry of 30-40 invoices per week using QuickBooks

Handle general office filing; notary certification is a plus

Conduct bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations for two different companies, including a Home Depot card that needs monthly reconciliation

Assist with month-end processes in collaboration with a CPA

Manage HR duties such as accessing employee/vendor records and processing payroll in QuickBooks for 2-30 employees, including handling garnishments

Administer the Colorado Secure Saving program and 401K options

Set up weekly payroll taxes

Track and reconcile use tax regulations for tax returns on a quarterly basis

Research and ensure compliance with out-of-state tax requirements as needed

Be available to answer benefit questions for new hires

Essential Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience with invoicing and HR

Proficiency in QuickBooks

Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entry

Ability to handle payroll, garnishments, and tax returns

Experience with credit card reconciliations and month-end tasks

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Notary certification is a plus

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Ability to research and understand tax requirements

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
