Job Title: Workers Compensation Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a Workers Compensation Assistant to provide initial information to injured workers, follow up on work status reports, and refer workers for light duty placements. The successful candidate will monitor communication platforms for messages, respond promptly, and work collaboratively with our Workers Compensation team. You will also learn and use our system to enter claims and perform other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

Provide initial information to injured workers verbally

Follow up for work status reports after medical appointments

Refer workers with restrictions for a light duty placement

Monitor communication platform for messages and respond

Work as part of our Workers Compensation Team sharing information

Learn our system to enter claims as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Proficiency in Outlook

Communication skills (speaking to internal employees to give them Workers Comp claim info)

Attention to detail

Ability to navigate through different systems

Work Environment

This position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with hours from 8am to 5pm or 7am to 4pm. You will be working in a supportive team environment with necessary technologies and systems provided to assist in your role

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
