Get onboard the Collins Aerospace MPC team. This role is onsite, in Rockford, IL.
What You Will Do:
You will assist and create tooling and fixturing designs by use of SolidWorks, Teamcenter, NX, and AutoCAD.
You will use 3D printing technology to create shadow boards, fixture/tools & support operations day to day need.
You will be revising, creating, and maintaining manufacturing work instructions.
You will support implementation of new manufacturing equipment, tools, and processes and evaluate feasibility.
You will participate in Lean events pertaining to production processes.
What You Will Learn:
Develop key management and team skills with ownership over daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
You will learn how to perform industrial engineering evaluations of production standards.
You will directly work with the Quality engineers, Supply Chain Managers, Design Engineering, Industrial Engineers, Value Stream leadership, and Plant Operations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, Operations, Aerospace or an applicable discipline.
Solid analytical problem-solving skills are extremely valuable.
Willingness to learn and react in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with a modeling software (i.e., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX).

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
