We are seeking a full-time Treatment Planning Coordinator for our well-established family dental practice in Windom, MN!

Our candidates should be highly motivated, adaptable, resilient, and attentive to detail. While specific dental experience or related experience is absolutely helpful, seasoned front desk staff/dental assistants are encouraged to apply! This position has numerous opportunities for advancement and would be an excellent fit for someone looking for that next step in his or her career!

Hours:

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Mon – Thurs
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Fri*
*Hours will be based on need for this specific day
No scheduled weekends/evenings!

Expectations and responsibilities:

Clearly explains and presents treatment options, related costs, so patients thoroughly understand what the restorative work entails
Presents financial options and makes appropriate arrangements for patients to proceed with treatment
Educates patients on their dental benefits
Confidently handles objections to proposed treatment
Schedules patient appointments to maximize efficiency and productivity while being aware of the time needed for the clinical schedule
Assists with referrals and acts as a liaison between referring doctors and the office to help deliver ideal coordinated care
Follows up on unscheduled treatment
Prints out non-covered service agreements daily for patients to sign
Notify clinical staff of changes in schedules.
At check-out, is very comfortable and confident at collecting payments for day of service treatment and overdue balances
Able to perform “close out” procedures at end of day.
Able to independently run the office in the absence of the Lead
Adheres to confidentiality and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patient’s records.
