Job Duties Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Match invoices to purchase orders.
Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
Prepare and process weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
Verify pricing, quantities, and approval authorization prior to payment.
Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing issues.
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.

Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Effective communication
Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.

Minimum Education Required Associate degree in accounting or related field.

Minimum Experience Required
1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
