We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engine equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for working with power tools and engines. We are an Employee Owned Company, Monday thru Friday schedule, Closed Weekends, Day Shift.

Duties

Diagnose issues with small engines and equipment, including weed trimmers, heaters, chainsaws, leaf blowers, generators, and other outdoor power tools.

Perform repairs and maintenance on various @types of small engine machinery.

Utilize schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively and efficiently.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and options clearly to clients.

Assist in sales by recommending products or services that meet customer needs.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Engage in heavy lifting as required during the repair process.

Experience

Previous experience as a mechanic or technician in small engine repair is preferred.

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools.

Familiarity with automotive repair practices is a plus.

Experience in diesel engine repair is beneficial but not mandatory.
