Starting Salary Range: $126,000 - $143,000; depending on experience

Location: Lynnwood, WA

Classification: Exempt

Position Overview:

The Senior Business Development Representative is responsible for securing mechanical construction projects through strategic marketing, clear communication, and effective negotiation. This role focuses on building lasting client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting successful project acquisition and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new project opportunities and long-term client relationships with private clients and general contractors.

Maintain and regularly update a list of target clients.

Utilize diverse sources to identify potential clients.

Conduct outreach through cold calls, warm calls, and scheduled appointments.

Communicate UMC's value proposition through meetings, calls, and written correspondence.

Secure invitations to bid on private projects.

Identify and pursue project opportunities with public entities.

Monitor multiple sources for advertised projects.

Maintain active registrations on public procurement platforms.

Participate in go/no-go decision-making processes for potential opportunities.

Prepare clear, detailed, and professional proposals tailored to client needs.
