The coordinator will manage the Museum's social media presence and develop a regular content calendar that keeps our community connected to what is happening at the Museum. Content will highlight new exhibits, programs, camps, special events, community outreach, memberships, partnerships, staff and volunteers, and the everyday moments that demonstrate the value of hands-on learning. The coordinator should be comfortable taking photographs and short videos, creating graphics and reels, writing engaging posts, and responding to the changing needs of a busy Museum.

The coordinator will work with education and exhibit staff to create professional, engaging graphics for new and changing exhibits, including exhibit signage, interpretive panels, labels, sponsor recognition, and educational graphics. Because the Museum regularly refreshes its exhibits and experiences, this person will help ensure that new exhibit content can move from idea to finished graphic efficiently while maintaining a consistent Museum brand.

Beyond social media, the coordinator will help develop and maintain the Museum's broader communications, including electronic newsletters, website content, press releases, advertisements, brochures, rack cards, posters, fundraising materials, annual and impact reports, donor communications, and community announcements. They will help ensure that everything the public sees---from a Facebook post to an exhibit sign to a fundraising piece---feels connected to the same organization and tells a consistent story.

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 -- 18.0 per week
