Develop, debug, implement, and enhance multiple software applications. Create and develop improvements and modifications to existing platform and integrate other software systems, databases, and other tools including Ember JS, JavaScript, Spring, Tomcat, HTML and CSS. Work with team members in a lean and agile development environment to build new functionality for the travel industry. Write and maintain sustainable and efficient Java back-end code that can be used in scalable architectures. Build proto@types and turn those idea into sustainable and scalable applications. Design, deliver, and participate in all phases of the software development process. Telecommuting permitted from any location in the U.S.

Requirements: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field plus six (6) years of experience in developing software for scalable web platforms.

Specific Skills: Also requires background in: Java, Spring and J2EE; SOA and/or microservices; Multi-threading/task-based architectures; Object-oriented design; JDBC; Hibernate; AWS; Cloud Architecture; JavaScript; Single page application frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Ember or related); API design; and REST/Web services.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between Salary: $185,700 to $205,700 per year. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
