The State of New Hampshire, Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services has a full-time vacancy for Civil Engineer IV.

Summary:

Manages the engineering and construction activities for the Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services. Supervises a variety of major engineering projects and provides technical expertise in the review of civil engineering, architectural systems design, and construction projects.

YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

Education: Masters degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in civil engineering, construction engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field.

Experience: Four years of post-baccalaureate experience in civil engineering, construction engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field.

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in civil engineering, construction engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field.

Experience: Six years of post-baccalaureate experience in civil engineering, construction engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field.

Education: Associate's degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in civil engineering, construction engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering or engineering technology field.

Experience: Six years of experience in civil engineering, construction engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field at a level equivalent to Civil Engineer I (or higher), plus two additional years of experience in a position comparable to an Engineering Technician.

License/Certification:

Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Hamp
