Location:

Primarily in Southeastern Michigan

Occasional out-of-state travel possible

Overview: This is an entry-level, hands-on technical position for individuals interested in learning and applying robotic programming skills in the manufacturing industry.

?? Primary Responsibilities:

Set up and program industrial robots on customer job sites

Perform robotic path and position touchups

Teach and verify TCPs (Tool Center Points) and frames

Load and adjust offline programs

Adjust robot dress packs to prevent wear and rubbing

Duplicate robotic configurations (axis limits, hard stops, etc.) across multiple units

Back up robot programs

Submit billing and documentation paperwork accurately

Use Microsoft Office applications to complete reports and forms

Follow safety protocols and work effectively both independently and on a team

?? Ideal Background (Crossover Skills May Include):

FIRST Robotics experience

Computer programming

Automotive repair or fabrication

Electrical or mechanical systems

Design/build experience

?? Job Conditions & Expectations:

Long periods of standing and movement in/around machinery

Climbing ladders regularly

Lifting up to 25 lbs and loading parts into tooling

Ability to work varying shifts including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays

Reliable transportation is required

Weekly time reporting required

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Willingness and physical ability to work in industrial environments
