The Role

SponsorUnited is hiring a strategic, enterprise-caliber Account Executive to drive new business within our Brands vertical the marketers, CMOs, and partnership/sponsorship leaders at Fortune 1000 and high-growth consumer companies who use SponsorUnited to find white space, benchmark spend, and negotiate smarter sponsorship deals.

This is a full-cycle, quota-carrying sales role for someone who can sell into senior stakeholders, run a consultative and often complex sales process, and close six- and seven-figure annual contracts. You'll act as a trusted advisor to brand marketing and partnership teams, translating SponsorUnited's data and platform into a clear business case for how they discover, price, and activate sponsorships.

This role carries an uncapped commission, and significant upside for reps who can build pipelines, navigate multi-stakeholder deals, and consistently close.

Key Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle for net-new brand accounts from prospecting and qualification through demo, negotiation, and close.

Build and manage a strategic pipeline of target brand accounts across categories (CPG, financial services, QSR, auto, tech, retail, insurance, etc.), prioritizing accounts with the highest sponsorship spend and white space potential.

Sell to senior stakeholders VPs and Directors of Partnerships, Sponsorship, Brand Marketing, and CMOs often navigating multiple decision-makers and procurement processes within large organizations.

Run a consultative, insight-led sales process, using SponsorUnited's own data and platform to demonstrate ROI: white space analysis, pricing benchmarks, competitive intelligence, and creative activation examples specific to each prospect.

Develop and deliver compelling proposals and pricing, structuring deals that reflect account value and multi-year potential.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Data/Research teams to build account-specific pitches and ensure smooth handoff and onboarding post-close.

Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in the CRM, and report consistently on progress against quota.

Represent SponsorUnited at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships and source new opportunities.

Stay fluent in the sponsorship landscape deal trends, brand activation strategies, and the competitive intelligence/sales enablement space to sell credibly and consult effectively.

What We're Looking For

5-10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in a strategic/enterprise, full-cycle closing role.

Experience selling to marketing, brand, or partnership leaders at large or enterprise organizations; sports, entertainment, media, or sponsorship industry experience is a strong plus but not required.

Demonstrated success running complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with average deal sizes in the mid-five to six figures (or higher).

Consultative selling ability comfortable using data and insights (not just a feature pitch) to build a business case and challenge prospects' thinking.

Strong business acumen and executive presence, with the ability to speak credibly to CMOs and VP/Director-level marketing and partnership leaders.

Proven pipeline generation skills this role is not purely inbound; you should be comfortable prospecting and building your own book of target accounts.

CRM discipline and forecasting rigor (Salesforce or similar).

Passion for sports, entertainment, or sponsorship marketing is a genuine advantage given the domain and customer base.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
