Position Overview

The Business Analyst / Product Owner serves as the primary liaison between manufacturing customers and the delivery team, driving requirement elicitation, documentation, and end-to-end implementation of data-driven solutions. You will uncover operational pain points, define project scope, and translate business needs into a prioritized backlog---ensuring that each release delivers measurable value and aligns with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with finance, procurement, engineering, supply chain, and other business units to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.

Process Mapping & Use-Case Definition: Lead workshops and interviews to document current-state manufacturing workflows (e.g., cost estimation, invoice matching) and identify high-value opportunities.

Product Backlog & Agile Delivery: Create and prioritize epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Solution Alignment: Partner with solution architects to design data models, pipelines, and applications that support analytics and operational workflows.

Documentation & Communication: Produce clear requirement specifications, UML/data-flow diagrams, and maintain artifact repositories in DevOps and Confluence.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate UAT sessions, capture business feedback, and drive issue resolution to ensure solutions meet user needs.

Change Management & Training: Develop training materials, run end-user workshops, and support the adoption of new processes and tools.

Value Realization: Define and track KPIs, monitor dashboard metrics, and report on ROI and performance improvements.

Technical & Domain Skills (Required)

Manufacturing Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP (e.g., PLEX), PLM (e.g., ENOVIA), supply chain finance, and customs/tariff processes.

Agile Tools & Practices: Skilled in JIRA/DevOps, Confluence, Lucid chart/Visio, Git-based CI/CD pipelines, and sprint ceremonies.

Workflow Design: Ability to model complex process relationships and design end-to-end data workflows for analytics.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or equivalent, with experience in manufacturing or automotive sectors.

Proven track record of gathering/documenting complex requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication, including executive-level presentations.

Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Palantir Foundry Expertise: Direct experience implementing or configuring Foundry components (Data Lineage, Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Slate, Workshop, Code Workbooks).

Palantir Certification: Any formal Foundry certification or vendor-led training.

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification.

Prior work with Tier-1 automotive suppliers or digital manufacturing initiatives.

Knowledge of data governance, security models, and role-based access control (RBAC).

Data Integration & Analytics: Experience in handling data integration and Analytics projects with exposure to data transformation frameworks.
