JOB SUMMARY:

Deliver health services to clients who are experiencing mental and physical conditions associated with mental illness.

Utilizes the nursing process documentation and communication skills to collaborate with physicians and other team members.

Provides nursing concepts and care plans to clients.

Provides health education training as assigned, administration of medication, collecting samples for testing, monitoring, food & liquid input/output, preparing Injections/enemas, providing patient hygiene, taking vital signs.

Cooperates with the licensee and Department of Human Services and staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation.

Performs other duties as deemed appropriate or needed by the supervisor.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY:

Degree from an accredited school of nursing.

Valid New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Experience in the field of behavioral health is preferred.

Current CPR/FA certificate.

Must be at least 21 years old.

Must be able to successfully complete a physical, drug screen and background check.

Valid driver's license in state of residence with a good driving record.

SALARY:

$29.80 to $32.00 per hour based on experience.
