About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to innovative projects. You will support the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and reliability standards. Initial project focus will be development and qualification of an energy storage system and associated test/support equipment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test electrical systems, components, and equipment.

Prepare technical documentation: drawings, schematics, procedures, reports, presentations etc.

Support project teams with calculations, modeling, and system analysis.

Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and resolving design issues.

Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.

Participate in project planning, scheduling, and reporting.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience.

Or, Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years of experience.

Or, in lieu of an engineering degree, 9+ years of qualifying experience will be considered.

Demonstrated leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Experience with embedded control system design (MCU IDEs, C/C++, etc.).

Experience power system test equipment design and automated control software development (Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, C#, or similar).

Strong understanding of circuit design, PCB layout, power distribution, and control systems.

Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Altium or similar).

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Must be U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with the Department of Defense

Experience in preparing technical documentation for military weapon systems

Active Secret security clearance
