Position Overview:

As an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer, you'll become specialized in Rotary Steerable Technology (Rotary Steerable Scout) which will include quality control, testing, repairs, and tracking of inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Become a specialist in the mechanics and hydraulics of the Rotary Steerable Scout product line.

Work with other engineers/end users to identify mechanical/hydraulic requirements and specifications. Document as required.

Self-starter, with senior engineering guidance, capable of taking responsibility for a project from concept through specification, mechanical/hydraulic design, manufacturing, testing, and sustaining.

Good listener and problem solver, capable of getting input from field test engineers and end users, identifying problem areas, and making changes which improve the performance of the Rotary Steerable Scout product line.

Track and document all mechanical/hydraulic upgrades in field test. Ensure upgrades are implemented correctly and document incoming conditions with recommendations for improvement.

Assist the engineering team in documenting proto@type/production drawings, assembly/disassembly procedures, in-house test procedures, field test mechanical/hydraulic results and lifecycle/retirement plan.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.

Must be able to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings.

Must demonstrate basic computers skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including experience with various Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Knowledge

of SolidWorks 3D design, FEA and fluid dynamics a plus.

Workweek Details:

Monday - Friday
