About us

San Angelo Autism Center is currently seeking entry level and/or experienced RBT therapists. Our therapists are committed to providing our clients with high quality and individualized, professional treatment based on the scientific principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

As an RBT, you will provide clinical skills instruction and implement behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with autism and related communication disorders under the direction/supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). These strategies are designed to increase the likelihood of adaptive and socially significant behaviors as well as decrease the likelihood of maladaptive (problem) behaviors that interfere with the client's ability to learn and function at their highest level of independence.

Experience with children is preferred.

This responsibility includes toilet training, decreasing problem behaviors (e.g. kicking, screaming, eloping), and open to constructive criticism to learn tasks at hand.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited, implementing treatment programs written by the Clinical Supervisor, collecting data, working with children in the clinic and/or in their homes, preparing program materials, and maintaining RBT certification by tracking supervision hours and renewing certification on an annual basis.
