RJY Group is seeking Chiller/HVAC Mechanics that are willing to travel, to become a part of our team! You will be required to perform a variety of tasks, as well as identify areas of improvement, to increase efficiency of commercial mechanical systems.

Responsibilities: Development of junior technicians in chiller and HVAC maintenance and repair. Act as Lead Chiller/HVAC Technician in performing routine, and unscheduled, maintenance and repair of industrial mechanical systems including air cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, valves, fan coil units, variable air volume systems, etc. Diagnose and repair of machine and equipment defects including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components related to these systems. Also includes diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturers recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct. Oversee installation and operation of various mechanical systems. Lead role in defining and developing the training, materials, and tools needed to support our chiller/HVAC maintenance business. Be available to work some nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers. Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis. Proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment shall always be maintained in the vehicle. Maintain all relevant documentation related to all services and tasks performed, including make, model, serial number, necessary test measurements, and pictures, as necessary. Provide detailed, complete, and timely paperwork as required. Identify and report to supervisor/manager potential business, including site visits, conference calls with subcontractors and cost estimation. Additional tasks as required, may include but are limited to: o Scheduling and coordinating services with the customer. o Provides updates to communicate to dispatch, parts procurement, supervisors, and managers, as needed, to keep company and customers informed about work progressions

Qualifications: Previous experience of 10+ years in chiller/HVAC maintenance, mechanical engineering, or other related fields. Familiarity with manufacturing designs or schematics. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to train junior technicians. Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.

Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.

Other Requirements: Willingness to travel 50 - 75% Well groomed, neat appearance. Valid social security number, drivers license, clean driving record, must pass background check. Be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work legally in the U.S. Must have the ability to get a TWIC card. Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights. Observe all company procedures and safety rules/regulations. Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.
