Summary of Duties

Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Director, College Credit Plus Partnerships is responsible for leadership, development, and management of all precollege credit programs at Rhodes State College, including the successful day-to-day operations and strategic planning of the programs for prospective and partner school districts. The Director builds positive working relationships with the school districts, initiates, promotes and maintains excellence, and manages the delivery of support services.

Duties & Responsibilities

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Provide leadership for the College Credit Plus program for Ohio students in grades 7-12 taking classes on campus, online and/or at their high school/career center.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Provide leadership for Ohio high school students enrolled in an approved industry recognized credential (IRC) that meets the Alternative Credential Program for the Ohio high school diploma option.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Facilitate the management for the programs through coordinated collaborations with Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, Workforce Development and Community Programming, and Finance and Administrative Services, that include: Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), outreach, recruitment, application and registration services, placement testing services, course requests, scheduling, and registration services, advising, and faculty credentialing.

Coordinate student orientation.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Maintain handbooks and web-based access to handbooks for faculty, students, parents, school counselors, and College Credit Plus partners.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Provide relative information to Academic Affairs for the Faculty Handbook.
