Duties

[Evaluate products against NEC and UL/CSA standards]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Perform testing and troubleshooting of power conversion equipment prior to shipment]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Conduct testing using measuring instruments and computer-based test programs]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Document and report test results accurately]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Read and interpret test procedures, wiring diagrams, and electrical/mechanical blueprints]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Install, diagnose, service, and repair electrical equipment prior to shipment]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Configure and connect system equipment (switchgear, SCCT cabinets, power ties)]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Inspect equipment during operating cycles and correct non-conforming issues]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Replace defective components and perform necessary fixes to ensure shipment readiness]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Collaborate with Test and Manufacturing Engineers on test equipment and work instruction development]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Skills

[Basic computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Experience with hypot testers, multimeters, wave and power analyzers, and oscilloscopes]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Education

[Associate's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}OR

[Equivalent training from a two-year technical school (electrical emphasis) ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}OR

[Combined education and experience equivalent to two years]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
