Greater Cincinnati Area | $75,000 Base + Uncapped Earning Potential

Turn complex warehouse challenges into smarter solutions.

Are you a strategic, technically minded sales professional who enjoys solving complex problems and building relationships at the executive level? Are you energized by pursuing large opportunities, developing customized solutions, and seeing those solutions come to life?

Raymond Storage Concepts is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Engineered Solutions team in the Greater Cincinnati area. This is an opportunity to sell much more than a product. You will partner with customers to understand their operations, uncover opportunities, and develop material handling solutions designed to improve space utilization, labor efficiency, productivity, and overall warehouse performance.

From storage systems and conveyor to work platforms, robotics, automation, and pallet-based ASRS, you will help customers rethink how their operations work.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Division Sales Manager, you'll own and develop opportunities throughout the Greater Cincinnati market while partnering closely with our Engineering, Sales, Project Management, and vendor teams.

In this role, you will:

Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through solution development, proposal, negotiation, and close.
Identify target customers throughout the territory and develop strategies to build relationships and win new business.
Partner with Account Managers and other Engineered Solutions Sales professionals to uncover opportunities within existing and prospective customers.
Meet with customers onsite to understand their operations, evaluate challenges, and identify opportunities involving automation, storage, labor, and productivity.
Engage with senior and C-suite leaders, including CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and CIOs, to communicate the strategic value, ROI, and operational impact of proposed solutions.
Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, and vendor partners to develop system concepts, layouts, scopes of work, and detailed proposals.
Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and executive-level briefings tailored to each customer's operational and financial priorities.
Build and manage a strong pipeline across warehousing, distribution, e-commerce, manufacturing, and related industries.
Develop relationships with stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and executive leadership.
Identify opportunities for storage systems, conveyor, work platforms, pallet-based and tote-based ASRS, robotics, automation, and lifecycle services.
Stay current on market trends, competitive solutions, and emerging automation technologies.
Support business development and marketing efforts through lead follow-up, case studies, and customer success stories.

Strong negotiation, objection-handling, and contract-closing skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, sales, project management, and other internal partners.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Must currently reside in the Greater Cincinnati area and be able to effectively cover the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Sales and Marketing, or a related field.
Five (5) years of material handling systems experience within a dealership, systems integrator, equipment manufacturer, or warehouse/distribution environment, including operations, engineering, or project management experience preferred.
