Software Engineer (Clojure)

Were looking for a teammate with:

The ability to fluently express yourself through software.

A foundational background in computer science, whether from academic achievements or up to five plus (5+) years of practical software development experience.

A robust coding skill set and a keen interest in Functional Programming Technologies, Especially Clojure, along with Web development technologies such as Typescript, JavaScript and React. Microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern database solutions such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis are also greatly appreciated.

Experience writing, running, and supporting 24/7/365 hosted services with multiple "9s" of uptime.

A problem-solving mindset and a continuous thirst for knowledge and personal growth.

Strong collaborative skills, with a history of building effective relationships across teams.

Experience or a strong interest in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

A passion for understanding security both from a code and systems perspective is also a big plus.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000 USD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidates location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
