Probotics is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our growing team in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical aptitude and enjoys building, assembling, and problem-solving. As an Assembly Technician, you’ll help fabricate and assemble advanced filling machines and automation equipment, ensuring top quality and reliability.

Duties

Assemble filling machines, including sheet metal components, sub-assemblies, and electrical cabinets using hand and power tools
Follow documented assembly processes and specifications to ensure accuracy and consistency
Perform fabrication and basic fitting as required, maintaining precision and quality in all work
Conduct quality checks and routine troubleshooting on assembled products
Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve processes and solve assembly challenges
Keep the shop clean and organized, always following safety protocols
Use ERP and inventory systems to track work orders, parts, and inventory
Receive, log, and organize parts and materials; assist with shipping and receiving as needed
Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment if necessary (training provided)

Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge, ideally in assembly, fabrication, or related manufacturing work
Experience assembling mechanical and/or electrical components in a factory or warehouse setting preferred
Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and following detailed instructions or blueprints
Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management is a plus
Previous forklift experience helpful, but not required—training available
Bonus: Experience with prototyping, CAD, CNC, 3D printing, or shop fabrication equipment
