Due to growth, PMX Industries the leading supplier of high-quality copper and precision metal alloys in North America, is searching for individuals to join the team and train as Machine Operators and Casters on their rotating night shift in the Cedar Rapids, IA area.

Excellent Compensation -

Starting pay is $21.47 to $22.47per hour, with automatic increases at 4 months, 1 year, and the ability to earn up to $32.14in just 30 months.

Overtime -

Ample opportunities to work overtime.

Schedule

Enjoy a rotating night shift of7:00 pm - 7:00 am with a base schedule of 36 hours one week, and 48 hours the next. You will only work the year unless you work overtime!!!

Have the ability to understand and apply basic operating principles and techniques to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Frequently required to read.

Have good mechanical and general aptitude, the ability to learn quickly, and operate heavy industrial equipment.

Perform minor maintenance on equipment if needed.

Forklift experience is helpful.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Trade school experience and/or a minimum of 1 year heavy industrial machine operation experience is recommended.
