Paycom Payroll, LLC seeks Sr. Data Scientist in Grapevine, Texas.

Duties:

Meet with business leaders to understand business challenges and opportunities, and then frame these as data science problems (10%)Identify data sources and evaluate suitability for use in analysis and modeling (10%) Scope data science projects (5%) Extract data from enterprise systems and clean the data for analysis and modeling (15%) Conduct analysis to derive insights from data (10%) Develop visualizations of analytics and models for communicating findings (5%) Build, test, and validate predictive models (10%) Put models into production (5%) Present insights to key business stakeholders (5%) Mentor junior team members/data scientists (10%) Identify opportunities to collect data from new sources or improve existing processes to allow for better analysis and modeling (10%) Implements new or enhanced software designed to access and handle data more efficiently (5%)

Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics or a related field or related field plus 4 years of experience. The role requires experience with the following:

Spark (in Scala or from R or Python). Neural networks, including CNN and RNN architectures. Natural language processing, including topic modeling, intent and entity extraction and building domain-specific language models. Building production APIs in Flask, FastAPI or similar frameworks. Deploying models in Docker containers on Kubernetes. Deploying models on-device for iOS and Android.

In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics or a related field plus 2 years of experience. The role requires experience with the following:

Must work at employers office in Grapevine, Texas at least 50% of the time; may be permitted to work from home other days.
